@sir I think the nim way is unqualified provided it is unambiguous.

@sir i think the only reason kubernetes exists is to allow the operations team to operate 'over the fence'. I feel like no small company should ever be using it

yes I was golfing for worst case scenarios with software that deals with time

I saw this project a while ago, then was unable to google it again as I was unable to remember the name.

@sir Did you know you can get instant computer security by clicking this totally trustworthy link?

@ranfdev @xj9

But what if I said it wasn't practically possible to make your whole engineering team understand this.

Rust forces people who are too stupid to use threads to at least obey basic principles.

@c Probably that most syntax is a waste of time. When you look at the amount of syntax you must learn for:

You find it is all wasted code following one idea. An interpreter.

All these tools should have a common syntax. Both forths and various lisps actually address this.

While I agree with the sentiment, I also think there is something to the notion of:

"Make difficult things easy, Impossible things possible."

To me there is no doubt rust makes some useful things possible that were not otherwise in a practical way.

@xj9 @c_cube

Rust has CSP too. Arguably the rust version of CSP is better than Go's version.

Though this is from the context of chess, Its great advice for just about everything else too :).

Just stop and think a bit before your next move.

As a highly opinionated computer person, I think it's worth mentioning that I find it valuable that the ecosystem is full of people with their own values and opinions, which may differ from or conflict with mine. I don't want a monoculture, I just want my ideas to do well 😉
