Very interesting post.
When talking about project maintainers, people often focus on how technical decisions are made in the project, especially when there's a disagreement between contributors.
OTOH, you've mentioned many other important aspects of being a maintainer, which are often overlooked by people.
Still, IMO it'd be interesting if you also wrote about how technical decisions are made in your projects, and how this fits the other project maintenance aspects you described.

You said that you maintain the vision, the scope, and that you give people whatever they need to do what they enjoy. However, what do you do when someone insists on doing what you think is a bad design decision, but not out of scope?

@Wolf480pl sometimes we'll argue but usually someone will relent, as often me as them. In time the best design becomes apparent anyway
