@sir Just tried sway 0.15. Loved the tear-free experience. But one thing I quickly noticed, was quite noticeable typing latency, compared to my bspwm setup. Is that a known issue?

@sir :P out of curiosity, how far away do you think the 1.0 release is? are you aiming for exact feature parity with the 0.x series? or will the 1.0 be coming out soon?
@aminb once it's feature complete we're going to start shipping betas and once it's bug-free we're going to start shipping release candidates
@sir Nice. I'd take the plunge and switch away to wayland in an instant, but there's a few things that I'm not ready to give up just yet. The most important being my password manager, rofi-pass, which can autotype passwords for me instead of me having to copy/paste it to/from the clipboard. Does sway have anything that'd help with programs that want to simulate keypress? That's the biggest one holding me back.
