@sir Why does a Window Manager need to explicitly support VR? I thought it would be the application that needs care about it.

@nifker sway isn't a window manager, it's a wayland compositor. It has ownership over your dispays and does rendering, in addition to window management. It has to consent to hand your display over to a VR application.

@sir Ah right, Wayland is much more low-level than X11 will ever be.

@nifker yes. But note that there is no X server on Wayland
