Okay, so the rumors that they don't require a phone number anymore were untrue. I did manage to get an account set up and it wasn't 10 minutes before I was cockblocked and forced to enter a phone number or abandon the account. I'll let you guess which one I chose.


I wonder if going into the settings, turning off all of the email notifications, turning off personalized ads, etc, triggers their be-a-dick-to-this-guy detector

@sir I remember the last time I set up a twitter account and I posted one single post, and twitter decided I was spammy and needed to confirm my identity. It's almost undoubtedly just a bait and switch.
