@sir Hopefully the year of Linux on the Phone comes a lot faster than the year of Linux on the Desktop!

If sending and receiving phone calls, SMS, and MMS can actually have a somewhat decent UX and be reliable, user adoption could have a chance. But I suppose this is targeted at developers and not normal users, so perhaps wide adoption isn’t a goal.


I've written a prebaked #sxmo (Simple X Mobile) image to a SD card and booted my #pinephone from it. I like what I see, so I've subscribed to the mailing list.

Nice, because I prefer mailing lists above forums.
