@sir @emersion Just strange that you are adding fallbacks manually. IPAGothic is part of the standard fontconfig fallback list.

@sir @emersion and you can use pango without fontconfig. Though its not really a great choice especially on *nix

@kurufu @emersion I like making IPAGothic slightly larger than the rest of my text

@sir @emersion Actually thats something you cannot do in fontconfig. Though I believe it makes the font metrics available so that the fallbacks can be sized appropriately to match the font/pt you chose. Understandable if you wanted IPAGothic to be larger than normal.
